Nicholas II abdicates

Stranded in his train while Petrograd's garrison joins the bread rioters, the last Tsar of Russia abdicates for himself and his haemophiliac son; his brother Michael declines the crown the next day. Three centuries of Romanov rule end in a railway carriage at Pskov.
