After attacking a law giving American soldiers immunity from Iranian courts — Iran, he says, has been sold for dollars — Khomeini is put on a plane to Turkey. From Najaf and later a Paris suburb, his sermons reach Iran on smuggled cassette tapes for fourteen years: the revolution will be run by post.
