Kolchak declares himself Supreme Ruler

In Omsk, Admiral Alexander Kolchak overthrows Siberia's socialist directory and proclaims himself Supreme Ruler of Russia — the White movement's one attempt at a single government. Recognised by no one and beaten within a year, he is handed over and shot in February 1920.
