Richard III's chief ally rises against him within months, in a rebellion already coordinated with an obscure exile named Henry Tudor. Autumn floods wreck it and Buckingham loses his head — but the coalition it revealed, Yorkist loyalists of the princes joined to Lancastrians, is the one that wins Bosworth.
