Louis-Napoleon elected French president

Ten months after the February revolution, France elects Napoleon's nephew president of the Second Republic by a landslide — a famous name over the men who made the revolution. Within three years he will overthrow the republic he was elected to lead, and within four crown himself Emperor Napoleon III.
