The court is dissolved

With accusations reaching the governor's own wife and Increase Mather preaching that 'it were better that ten suspected witches should escape than that one innocent person should be condemned', Governor Phips dissolves the court and bars spectral evidence. The replacement court acquits almost everyone; by May 1693 every prisoner is released — those, at least, still alive.
