The voices at Domrémy

1425* · Event

In her father's garden, a thirteen-year-old peasant girl begins hearing what she will always describe as the voices of Saint Michael, Saint Catherine and Saint Margaret — telling her, over four years, that she must drive the English from France and take the Dauphin to be crowned. She tells no one for years. At her trial, it is the voices they will burn her for.
