Plateosaurus

The first dinosaur giant: a long-necked plant-eater up to ten metres long, browsing Triassic Europe in herds — over a hundred skeletons have been dug from German and Swiss bonebeds. An early cousin of the sauropod line, Plateosaurus is the announcement of what dinosaurs will become once the Jurassic gives them room.
