Greek independence recognised

By the London Protocol, Britain, France and Russia declare Greece an independent state under their guarantee — the first nation carved whole out of the Ottoman Empire, and the first success of the century's nationalist revolutions. The borders are small and the imported Bavarian king comes later; the precedent shakes every empire in Europe.
