Spinosaurus

Longer than T. rex, sail-backed and crocodile-jawed, Spinosaurus hunted fish in North African river systems — the strongest candidate yet for a swimming dinosaur. Its original bones were destroyed in the 1944 bombing of Munich, leaving science to rebuild it from new Moroccan finds; each revision has made it stranger.
